There is nothing a German officer cannot do!
Colonel Manfred von Holstein: There is nothing a German officer cannot do.
Captain Rumpelstoss: But... how will I learn to fly, Herr Colonel?
Col. Manfred von Holstein: The way we do everything in the German army: From the book of instructions.
[Reading from flight instruction manual]
Col. Manfred von Holstein: Step one: sit down...

Yol
[Yol, Palme d'Or, Cannes, 1982]
Nesiguranta asta, arde-o focu'... :-)
In fine, desi asta e teoria mea.

[Ionel Ionelule - Irina Sarbu & Marius Mihalache Band]
[Aprinde o tigara - Irina Sarbu]
Asta pentru ca fumul de tigara te cufunda in uitare si gandul isi gaseste carare spre abis, se vede o noua zare si dorului i se gaseste alean... intr-o tigara... :-)
[C'est si bon - Irina Sarbu]
Clasic jazz... C'est si bon - because that's what lovers say in France... :-)
[The girl from Ipanema - Irina Sarbu]

Eastern Plays
Christo: Mi-am lăsat inima în frigider. Mi-e teamă că mi-am pierdut iubirea pentru tot. Vreau să fiu bun şi nu pot. Dacă mi-aş regăsi iubirea într-un călcîi, aş extrage-o de acolo cu o seringă şi mi-aş pune-o la loc în inimă. Dar mi-e teamă că am pierdut-o de tot. Cum fac?...
[Eastern Plays, prezentat in 2009 la Cannes]
...sad, true story.

Jezebel
Jezebel, Jezebel...
Wiki says... that originally this name would have been translated as Virgin of Baal, but a letter was added to the name so as to give it a negative meaning Whore of Baal.
A letter, ha!... Ha ha!! A letter and everything changes...
Sade says...
Jezebel Jezebel
Won't try to deny where she came from
You can see it in her pride
And the raven in her eyes
Try show her a better way
She'll say you don't know what you've been missing
And by the time she blinks you know she won't be listening
Depeche Mode says...
They call you Jezebel
For what you like to wear
you're morally unwell :-))
They say you never care for me
But what the fail to see is that
your games are the key
And last but not least...
Jezebel (1938) is a dear movie. Bette Davis plays an arrogant Southern girl who tries to be forgiven for her mistakes in the end, to the man she has always loved (played by Henry Fonda). Unfortunately destiny does not help her much...
This is part of the scene where she wants to wear a red dress at a ball where unmarried young girls are allowed to wear only white.
Like I wouldn't have done the same!... But unlike her, I still wouldn't have got why that was wrong... :-)
And I wonder... why is there that in movies (classical American that is, but not only...) the characters with such dramas are always girls?...
Why only girls are rebels and love forever? And why boys always get over it?... Why girls dare, why girls fight, why girls are restless?...
Well I don't know why... but they make such, such beautiful characters... Amazingly beautiful... :-)

Intr-o dulce curgere Tchaikovsky...
